Luxury Granola

We’re pretty loved up with our Luxury Granola here at Bite Club. Packed with natural and wholesome ingredients, this works great as a snack, breakfast- and everything else! We pair ours with Alpro Vanilla Soya Milk or Natural Yoghurt. Keep reading to find out more about each specially chosen ingredient that goes into our delicious Luxury Granola.

This grain contains soluble fibre and is great for your heart health, due to its beta-glucan content. Beta-glucan is a type of fibre that helps to reduce high cholesterol levels and slow the absorption of sugar into the blood, which provides a sustained release of energy throughout the day. As well as balancing your energy levels, this helps to prevent blood sugar spikes.

Rich in antioxidants that protect the body from free radical damage and reduce blood pressure, honey adds a sweet kick to our Luxury Granola. Honey may improve cholesterol levels, which helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.

This fruit contains manganese, which helps to form bones and tissue in the body. Cranberries also help to support your digestive health, as they contain proanthocyanidins that can offer protection against stomach ulcers.

We’re nuts about almonds here at Bite Club! They contain various phytochemicals, such as beta-sitosterol and stigmasterol that may reduce the risk of heart disease. Almonds contain a healthy amount of calcium, which may reduce the risk of osteoporosis. This fab nut helps to keep your skin glowing with its vitamin E content, which helps defend the skin from free radical damage. Almonds also contain essential fatty acids that may help to improve skin elasticity.

Containing alpha-linolenic acid, this nut helps to keep your heart healthy. This omega-3 fatty acid may help to reduce high cholesterol levels, which makes your blood less likely to clot as well as preventing the risk of heart disease. Walnut’s essential fatty acid content also helps to strengthen the membranes of your skin cells, which keeps the skin looking youthful as well as locking in moisture.
